Schlossberg, the great-granddaughter of John F. Kennedy and Rose Kennedy, shares her name with her great-grandmother and bears a striking resemblance to her grandmother, former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
She attended Brearley School during her upbringing and later pursued her undergraduate degree at Harvard College, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor’s degree in English studies. She also took classes in filmmaking and fashion design during her time at Harvard.
In 2011, she enrolled at New York University, where she completed the Interactive Telecommunications Program, earning a Master of Professional Studies degree in 2013. During her time at NYU, she co-created a YouTube series titled End Times Girls Club.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Schlossberg has been involved in politics, supporting Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign and assisting Democrat Alan Khazei in his 2010 Senate special election campaign. However, she has since shifted her focus away from acting and politics to start a family with her partner, Rory.
Rory McAuliffe, Rose Kennedy Schlossberg’s spouse, co-owns Rory’s Place with her sister, Meave McAuliffe. Rory, who previously worked as a filmmaker, has always had a passion for cooking and baking, having assisted her mother, Jo-Ann McAuliffe, in her Los Angeles bakery from a young age.
Rory attended Hampshire College, where she studied Film, Video, and Photography, and previously attended Concorde Secondary School. She has another sibling, Liam McAuliffe.
Rose and Rory tied the knot on May 14, 2022, after being in a relationship for over eight years. The wedding took place at their $1.2 million home in Ojai, California, with a shower ceremony attended by 300 friends and family members.
The wedding, officiated by Tim Shriver, featured contemporary wedding attire, with Rose wearing a white net dress with red patterns and Rory opting for a plain white net dress. They both wore high-heeled black shoes and were seen feeding each other cake at the reception.
Despite the age difference between them, with Rose being 34 years old and Rory being 32 years old, they have a happy married life and enjoy living in Ojai, California.
